A translucent, pulsating cube of cobalt light that drifts aimlessly through the deep. Its intense bioluminescent glow is a mesmerizing trap for deep-sea prey. It has no brain or heart and simply operates through a nerve net, making it much more of a living, stinging curtain than a predator.
